Admission Requirements
What you need to apply to an undergraduate, graduate or doctoral program at SABAL University.
All applicants must submit
- Official high school diploma or equivalent from an accredited, state-licensed or government-recognized institution.
- Valid government-issued photo identification.
- If applying with an associate degree, official transcripts from an accredited or licensed institution.
- Any document not in English must be accompanied by a certified translation.
- Diplomas, degrees or transcripts issued outside the United States must be evaluated by a recognized foreign credential evaluation agency affiliated with NACES or AICE.
Language proficiency — programs in English
Official results from one of the following:
The English requirement may be waived if…
- College/university English composition 101 or 102 at a U.S. institution.
- Completed high school in the U.S. or Canada (except Quebec).
- IB Higher Level English (minimum score of 4).
- AP English Literature (minimum score of 3).
- ELS Language Center Level 112 Certificate.
- OHLA Advanced 2 level.
Programs in Spanish
Students unable to provide evidence of college-level competency may be required to take an institutional language assessment. The requirement may be waived if you meet one of the following:
- College/university Spanish composition at a U.S. institution.
- Completed high school program in Spanish.
- AP Spanish Composition with a score of 3 or higher.
- An associate degree from an accredited Spanish-speaking college or university.
Completing a course or program in a language other than English may reduce employability where English is required.

- Bachelor's degree diploma and official transcripts from an accredited, state-licensed or government-recognized institution.
- Valid government-issued photo identification.
- An updated resume.
- Three (3) letters of recommendation.
- Any document not in English must be accompanied by a certified translation.
- Diplomas, degrees or transcripts issued outside the United States must be evaluated by a recognized foreign credential evaluation agency affiliated with NACES or AICE.

- An essay explaining how earning a doctoral degree will enhance your knowledge and contribute to your professional and career goals.
- A minimum of four (4) years of verifiable professional business experience.
- Doctoral programs do not accept transfer credits.
- Any document not issued in English must be accompanied by a certified English translation.
